Works to transform Ang Mo Kio into a model walking and cycling town have begun. Phase 1 of the works, which includes a 4km cycling path looping around Ang Mo Kio Avenues 1, 3, and 8, is expected to be completed by the first half of 2016. Besides expanding the existing cycling network by 16km, the new cycling network will also include a 2.6km walking and cycling corridor along the MRT viaduct between Yio Chu Kang MRT station and Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park. The cycling path will also be linked to the North-South Corridor as an option for residents who wish to cycle from their home straight to the City.

The average price of units sold is said to be about $2,100 psf, according to sources, which means AMO Residence has set a new benchmark for prices of projects in the Outside Central Region (OCR).

SINGAPORE: Construction works for Bright Hill interchange station on the upcoming Cross Island Line (CRL) are expected to start in the second quarter of this year, with train service to start in 2030, said the Land Transport Authority (LTA) on Wednesday (Mar 30).
